2022 Nominations
2022 Collection (signups CLOSED)
General Collection Etiquette
Please comment on your gifts and treats. Your creators work hard to give you a gift tailored to you so it's nice to at least thank them and let them know you've seen and appreciate it. If you are noted as not commenting on your gifts within 2 weeks of work reveals you will not be allowed to participate in the next round of the exchange.
Disparaging or rude comments on any collection work will get you banned from all future participation.
Character bashing, cast bashing, ship/pairing bashing and kinkshaming will not be tolerated. If you see this behavior, including in prompts, please let the Mod team know so that it may be addressed. Please note that saying you don't like a certain ship or don't want a certain character or cast member included in your gift(s) is not considered bashing.

You can nominate individual characters or groups of characters. To nominate individual characters, just use the character's name. If your character has multiple versions across fandoms, please specify the fandom in parentheses after their name. If you'd like to nominate a group, please use the format;
Group: Character A & Character B (for platonic relationships)
Group: Character A/Character B (for for romantic relationships).
Whether nominating individual characters or groups they should be entered into the "characters" box on the nominations form.
Nominations that include characters from multiple campaigns or one-shots or that are meta (Cast meets characters, cast becomes characters, etc) should be nominated under the Critical Crossover fandom category.
When nominating characters please use the AO3 canonical tag where available. For Characters without a canonical tag, please use the full character name. Please disambiguate characters as needed by adding (critical role) at the end of their name.
When nominating Groups please list the characters in alphabetical order by first name as this makes the task of eliminating doubles much easier.
Sign-ups:
You must be at least 18 years of age and have an AO3 account to participate. If you do not have an account, but would still like to participate, please contact a mod.
As with the Nominations phase, requests and offers that include characters from multiple categories should be requested and offered under the Critical Crossover fandom category.
In all cases characters and groups of characters requested or offered must have been nominated and approved to the tag set during the nominations phase.

Prompts are allowed and encouraged for requests, but following those prompts is not mandatory. As such, when offering prompts, please be sure to include multiple options for your creator to work with. The more prompts you can give for each request the more likely it is that you will receive something you'll love.
What are "Dear Critter" Letters?
"Dear Critter" letters (also known as Dear Author letters) are letters written and posted to a journal, google document, tumblr or other space meant to give your assigned writer (and those looking to write treats) more information about you and your engagement with the fandom. Information generally included in these letters are your general likes and dislikes are, what you enjoy about the characters and relationships you requested, detailed prompts, a restatement of your do not wants and other such information.
Dear Critter letters are completely optional. You are not required to write one and your assigned creator is not required to read or follow it. However, most creators both like and follow as best they can letters written by their recipient.
Anyone who chooses to write a Dear Critter Letter should include the link to their letter in the appropriate box on the sign-up form to allow creators to locate them easily. Remember that your letters need to be open to everyone (not locked) in order for your creator (and those looking to create treats) to see them. For those who fill out their sign-ups with a placeholder letter link, please remember to write/update your letter before assignments go out!
Please also remember that any DNWs must be included on the sign-up form in the optional details section in order to be enforceable. DNWs included only in a DCL can not be enforced by the mods.
If anything is unclear, or you have question, please contact a mod for assistance.
