The Deadline has now passed. The Collection is currently closed while behind the scenes admin things happen. It will reopen for the posting of treats and pinch hit assignments once post deadline pinch hits have gone out.

There are currently 3 PDPHs, if you do not see your request listed there and also do not have a gift please do not worry. There are several people who have requested extensions. PDPHs should go up in the next few hours and a Treatless list will be posted in a couple of days.

This is your yearly reminder that the Deadline is almost here! There are about 65 hours until assignments are due! If you need to default please do so as soon as possible so that a pinch hitter can be found and given as much time as possible to create a gift. If you need to request an extension please also do so as soon as possible. Any assignments that have not been fulfilled and who have not made arrangements regarding an extension will be auto-defaulted once the deadline passes.

A few important notes:

There are currently no Pinch Hits. Any future Pinch Hits will be posted to this Comm as they were in previous years.
Please wait until Monday, November 9th for unfinished/Placeholder or locked letters to be updated before seeking mod intervention.
The No Penalty Default Deadline this year is December 12th.

When it comes to your assignments;

You are only required to write one story or create one art piece for your assigned recipient. You may write that story/create art for any of their “fandoms” (even if it’s not the fandom you matched on).
The only requirements to fulfill your assignment are to write 1 story or create one art piece in one requested fandom, using one of that fandom’s requested characters or group of characters while not writing or creating anything containing any of your recipient’s listed DNWs.
If you find yourself inspired by other prompts you are absolutely welcome to write/create additional treats (for either your main recipient or anyone else who signed up and made a request that caught your eye), but they aren't required.

2020 Nominations have now closed.

We have 14 Critical Role Properties with 397 individual characters and relationships currently in the tag set.

I will be going through them all in order to make this year's easy to read Tag Set List, which will be posted sometime tomorrow before sign-ups open.

If there are any issues with the nominations you made, please let me know so they can be taken care of.

The tag set has been behaving a little bit squirrely this year. If anyone has had something outright rejected that didn't otherwise end-up in the tag set and clearly should be allowed, please be sure to let me know so I can get it sorted out for you.

Question: We have a set of nominations for the infamous "Wendy's One-Shot". Before a decision on approval is made I would like to ask if there are any strong feelings on it's inclusion/disqualification from our Critmas Exchange Community. If so, please let us know as a comment to this post. As we are only looking for a general consensus, not looking to start a debate and we want people to be able to give honest thoughts, all comments are be screened and will remain such. Thank you in advance for your input.

Issues have been fixed (we think) and nominations have been re-opened.

A couple of notes/requests to make your mods life easier;
1. Please remember to include "Group:" before your nomination when nominating anything other than a single character.

2. Please remember to put your nominated groups of characters in alphabetical order (i.e. Caleb Widogast/Jester Lavore instead of Jester Lavore/Caleb Widogast) it just makes it easier to spot doubles.

ETA: It seems the tagset wants to fight this year; if you find that it has auto-rejected your nominations because of an error in your selected fandom tag, please message this account with a brief explanation and a list of the nominations that you were attempting to make and we'll make sure it gets into the tagset (or let you know why they won't be included).
